- Level 1 – Basic Course Setting for Training and Competition
Foundation membership and the opportunity to complete Level 1 training and assessment. Aimed at coaches, ski instructors, race trainers, race officials, and anyone who is interested in setting courses in training and club competitions.
- Level 2 – Advanced Course Setting for Training and Competition
Advanced membership and the opportunity to complete Level 1 training and assessment, and provided evidence of setting courses at National standard competitions or training environments . At this level supplementary evidence is needed to grant certification. Aimed at coaches, race trainers, and ski instructors involved in facilitating National competitions and advanced level coaching of performers at any age group or category
- Level 3 – International Course Setting – experience based
This level of membership is attained through gaining Level 1 or 2 certification and once the member has provided supplementary evidence of setting courses internationally, They also contribute to the development of course setters and are available to contribute to mentoring and training experiences of the ACS.
- Level 4 – Master Course Setting – experience based
This level of membership is attained through gaining Level 1 or 2 certification and again the members experiences will have been documented, and is granted to course setters that are, or have been recognised for setting courses at the highest levels of wintersport competition.
